Privacy Policy

Oba AI is a pet photo and video creation app operated under the Oba Tech brand by the individual developer identified on our App Store listing. Contact us about privacy at 774926611@qq.com.

What we process and why

• Account: Sign in with Apple identifies your account. We process your Apple account identifier, authentication credentials and sessions, and the display name and avatar you provide, to sign you in and display your profile. We do not receive your Apple password or bank card details.
• AI creation: when you choose photos and permit AI processing, we process those photos, template instructions, generated images or videos, task identifiers and progress to create and deliver your result. Selecting a photo does not give us access to your entire library.
• Purchases: we verify Apple transaction and subscription records and retain account-linked entitlements, credit deductions and refunds, task references and provider costs to deliver purchases, prevent duplicate charging, resolve disputes and maintain financial records.
• Playground: content you choose to publish, its title and description, your display name and avatar, and interactions such as likes and comments are used to provide the public community. Reports and blocks are used to enforce community rules.
• Service security: network requests necessarily expose an IP address to the services handling them. Our account service derives limited security identifiers for rate limiting rather than storing raw IP addresses in its rate-limit records. Hosting and service providers may maintain their own operational and security records.

AI services and other recipients

Oba AI uses Tencent Cloud for account services, private media storage, template delivery and community hosting. For generation, your selected photos and the template instructions are sent to RunningHub and the AI model provider used by the template. This is required to produce your requested image or video; it does not publish your photos to Playground. Templates determine the model rather than giving app users unrestricted model selection.

Apple processes sign-in and purchases. Community content may be processed by automated safety services, including Tencent Cloud, and authorized moderators to help enforce our rules and handle reports. Content delivery and website hosting use Tencent Cloud services, including EdgeOne.

Our infrastructure includes Tencent Cloud in mainland China. Depending on the selected template and provider, data may also be processed in other countries where those providers operate. Privacy protections can differ from those in your country. Do not upload confidential material, identification documents, or photos you do not have permission to use.

We do not use your photos for advertising or cross-app tracking. RunningHub's standard terms, section 10.3, include content reuse rights for model/service improvement and promotion or distribution. We have not verified an API-specific exclusion from those rights. Its Privacy Policy separately describes personal-information protection, retention and deletion. This policy does not promise zero retention or that every third-party provider excludes model training. Review these terms before permitting AI processing; do not upload sensitive material if you do not accept the provider's conditions.

Your choices

You can browse without allowing AI photo uploads. The app requests explicit permission before your first AI upload and remembers it for that account and disclosure version on your device. In Settings, withdraw AI processing permission to stop new uploads and new submissions. This cannot recall data already transmitted or cancel a provider task already submitted. Querying an existing task can continue without a new photo upload.

Generation is private unless you separately choose to publish to Playground. Public posts and comments can be viewed, saved or shared by other people; removing content from Oba AI cannot remove copies someone else has already made. Do not publish content you want to keep private.

Retention and deletion

Generation inputs and intermediate files are queued for removal after a task finishes, normally becoming eligible for cleanup after one day. Abandoned prepared tasks are also cleaned up. Cleanup is asynchronous, so this is not an immediate deletion guarantee. Generated server results remain available until their associated data is deleted. External providers may have separate retention periods.

In the app, use Profile → Settings → Oba account → Delete account to request account deletion and revocation of the Apple sign-in authorization. This removes the active profile and sessions and schedules associated private media for removal. Minimal financial identity, transaction, entitlement, deduction/refund and cost records can remain for purchase integrity, accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations; they do not include the deleted profile, sign-in credentials or photos. Such retained financial records are not publicly accessible.

Creations and caches stored on your phone are separate from your server account. Remove local copies from your device and from Photos if you also want those copies deleted. Deleting your Oba AI account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage or cancel it separately through your Apple account.

For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests available under the laws that apply to you, email 774926611@qq.com. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting.

Security and children

We use encrypted network connections, restricted server-side access and device-secured sessions. No system is completely secure. Oba AI is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where required.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes to AI sharing will require renewed permission in the app before the changed processing is used.
